The University of North Carolina men’s basketball team may be playing more than 1,000 miles away on Monday night, but the Dean Smith Center will be far from quiet as the top-seeded Tar Heels face Villanova in the NCAA title game.
Carolina Athletics and Carolina After Dark at Student Wellness will be hosting a viewing party in the Smith Center for fans in Chapel Hill. The game, which tips off at 9:19 p.m., will be shown on a large projection screen and the Smith Center video boards.
Doors for students, faculty and staff will open at 8 p.m., and at 8:30 p.m. for the general public. Parking will be available for $5 in the Manning, Bowles, Craige and Ramshead parking lots.
