Duke-UNC Rotary Peace Center film series to present ‘Without A Fight’ on Nov. 2
(Chapel Hill, N.C.— Oct. 15, 2015) – The Duke-UNC Rotary Peace Center will present the documentary “Without A Fight” (2012, 60 min.) on Nov. 2 as part of its Peace Film Series. The film will be shown at 5:30 p.m. in the Nelson Mandela Auditorium in the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill FedEx Global Education Center.
The film provides a rare glimpse into an Africa few have experienced. It attempts to break stereotypes associated with people who live in extreme poverty while depicting sports as a tool that could be used to prevent violence among at-risk youth
The screening, which is free and open to the public, will be followed by a facilitated discussion.
More information is available on the Duke-UNC Rotary Peace Center website.
