The public is invited to attend the annual Veteran’s Day ceremony at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill on Nov. 11.
The ceremony will begin at 11:11 a.m. at the Carolina Alumni Memorial on Cameron Avenue near Memorial Hall. Veterans will be asked to stand and be recognized as the conflict in which they served is named.
This year’s speaker will be Brigadier General John Hort, a UNC-Chapel Hill alumnus. Sponsors of the ceremony are the Army, Air Force and Naval Reserve Officers Training at UNC.
