The personalization of healthcare is the focus of the third annual Healthcare Conference at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill on Nov. 15.

The one-day conference will take place in the McColl Building, home of Kenan-Flagler Business School, from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m.  Organized by the MBA Healthcare Club at Kenan-Flagler, the conference is free for students as well as employees of UNC Health Care and sponsor companies. Lou Lange, M.D., general partner at Asset Management Venture Fund, will give the keynote address. He has 22 years of experience in academic medicine at Harvard and Washington universities, founded CV Therapeutics and now works as an asset venture fund manager.

The conference will also include networking opportunities and panel discussions that will explore growing trends of patients controlling more of their care, marketing shifts from product to service focus, healthcare information technology, delivering innovation to the patient, and startups within healthcare.
