Media representatives are invited to cover this lecture by Secretary of the United States Navy Ray Mabus on “Leadership in Service” at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill.

Mabus leads America’s Navy and Marine Corps, has served as governor of Mississippi, ambassador to the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia and was chairman and chief executive officer of Foamex. President Barack Obama appointed him to prepare a long-term recovery plan for the Gulf of Mexico in the aftermath of the Deepwater Horizon oil spill.

Directions: The Paul Green Theatre is housed in the Center for Dramatic Art at 250 Country Club Road on the UNC-Chapel Hill campus, approximately one block north of the intersection of Country Club Road and Raleigh Road.

Parking: Metered parking is available on Country Club Road and on South Road between Country Club Road and Carmichael Auditorium, at the Highway 54 Lot on Raleigh Road just west of Country Club Road and diagonally across from the School of Government, or in the Rams Head Parking Deck on Ridge Road.
