Unmesh Brahme and Jayashankar Swaminathan will discuss how social enterprise and energy solutions can fuel bottom-of-the-pyramid markets. Brahme is a Yale World Fellow, president and co-founder of Climate Civics Institute, a community centric initiative in climate adaptation and policy innovation. He also is managing director and chief executive officer of Sustainability CXO Partners Worldwide, a global advisory firm working with CEOs, top management and boards.
Swaminathan is Kenan-Flagler’s senior associate dean of academic affairs and the Glaxo Distinguished Professor of Global Business and Operations, Technology and Innovation Management. He is the author of the book “Indian Economic Superpower: Fiction or Future?” His research focuses on global supply-chain management, mass customization and business-to-business e-commerce.
