A Neighborhood Night Out will be held Sept. 28 in the Northside neighborhood as a part of the National Night Out Against Crime. The Good Neighbor Initiative, in conjunction with the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill, the Town of Chapel Hill, and EmPOWERment Inc., will sponsor a walk around the Northside neighborhood followed by a block party.

A Neighborhood Night Out will be held Sept. 28 in the Northside neighborhood as a part of the National Night Out Against Crime. The Good Neighbor Initiative, in conjunction with the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill, the Town of Chapel Hill, and EmPOWERment Inc., will sponsor a walk around the Northside neighborhood followed by a block party.

Walk registration begins at 6 p.m., with the walk lasting from 6:30 p.m. until 7 p.m. The walk will start and finish at the Hargraves Community Center, 216 N. Roberson St., where the block party will include free food, prizes, games and live music from 7 p.m. to 9 p.m.
