Previously, she was anchor for ABC News and a contributor for “20-20 Downtown” and “Good Morning America.” She worked as a correspondent for CBS News’ “Sunday Morning” and reported for “48 Hours.” She received a Peabody Award for her work in MTV’s first election coverage and won an Emmy Award for her reports during the Sept. 11 terrorist attacks.
Kenan-Flagler created the Dean’s Speaker Series to bring outstanding scholars and leaders from business, education and government to share thoughts and insights with the business school, university and community at large. The series is made possible through support of the Archie K. Davis Endowment, and is managed primarily by Kenan-Flagler students, who select and invite the leaders from whom they most want to learn.
Previous Dean’s Speaker Series speakers have included Steve Howe, Americas managing partner, Ernst & Young; John Replogle, president and CEO, Burt’s Bees; Timothy P. Flynn, chairman, KPMG International; and William C. Weldon, chairman and CEO, Johnson & Johnson.
