"Holiday Spirits" will be the theme of this year's Winter Stories program at UNC's Wilson Library on Dec. 6. Live, instrumental music and storytelling will be part of the program at 5:30 p.m. A cookies-and-juice reception will begin at 5 p.m.

Brian Sturm, Ph.D., an associate professor in UNC's School of Information and Library Science, and students from the school will tell seasonal tales in the free public program sponsored by Friends of the Library. Sturm specializes in children's literature, but the event is designed for children of all ages.
